My family loves to play games. We enjoy games of many styles. While some members of the family prefer one type of game over the other.

Our family games with video games, board games, out door games and card games. When Mike was young and in Junior High/High School he enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends. Now one of our daughters has followed in his footsteps and enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends.

Gaming is a nice way to pass the time to bond as a family as well as a nice pastime to unwind.

Growing up in the 80’s I really did not have any video games. They were not prevalent as they are today. My family and friends spent time playing board games like Monopoly, Sorry, Clue, Chutes and Ladders and Battleship. My first experience with a video game was a Tandy which was a small system that had pretty much nothing in the way of graphics, it was basically a bunch of pixels. This was a box that we hooked up to the TV.  After the Tandy we had a Nintendo.

My first experience with a handheld game system was playing with my brother’s Game Boy. There was this bubble game, I that I really enjoyed playing. I do not recall the name of it.

As a child my experience with computer games was playing Oregon Trail. I enjoyed playing Pac-Man at arcades.

Now a days, I enjoy playing games on my PC, PlayStation 2 and Wii. I also enjoy playing board and card games.
