Fabulous and Fun

Welcome to Fabulous and Fun! In May of 2013 we thought it would be fun to start doing book reviews and to put up a blog where we could post our dual points of view of the books we love as a husband and wife team. So we started Fabulous and Fun. Between all of us we are able to review and share a wide variety of books in almost all genres.

You can read more about us here. Follow us on Facebook.

At Fabulous and Fun we enjoy reading and talking about our favorite books.

There’s a serial killer at large. His victims just happen to resemble Kaitlyn—dark haired, pale skin and athletic build. Kaitlyn goes undercover, attending a prestigious high school to try to lure the killer into a trap and save the lives of other potential victims. Will she be able to catch the killer before his body count rises? Or will she become the next victim?

Feature Friday – Shelly Crane

Shelly Crane is one of our original four indie authors and even if she never writes another story I know we’ll be reading her stuff for years to come. But thankfully she’s not done yet! Continuing to crank out new stories in the Devoured series and the Significance series (Currently in development as a television series! http://www.significanceseries.com/) with undoubtedly many more on the way!

The Sense of Touch

The Sense of Touch

Old friends uncomfortably reunited and lovers who cling to their distance from one another; disappearing fathers, fiercely loving grandfathers, and strangers who pass through and radically change lives…These are among the characters who populate the rugged Midwestern landscapes of the mesmerizing fiction world of Ron Parsons. In his debut collection, THE SENSE OF TOUCH (Aqueous Books; May 1, 2013), Parsons captures people of various ages in the act of searching for meaning and connection and themselves. Firmly set in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Michigan, the lush but often brutally cold heartland of America, the eight stories explore universal themes–loneliness, betrayal, transformation, hope–in fresh, sometimes fanciful, sometimes comical, sometimes jarring, and always moving and memorable ways.
