Author Melanie Karsak drops by today to celebrate her cover-to-cover event for her dark fantasy/zombie novel The Harvesting and to challenge you to survive the zombie apocalypse! How to play?

You finally make it home but there is no sign of your grandmother. You decide to wait it out. As you wait, you realize your grandmother, a gifted medium, has stocked the house full of supplies: medicines, bandages, weapons, etc. Grandma’s Hummel figurine collection has been replaced with boxes of ammo. What in the world? You try the TV but there is nothing but static. You flip on the radio; a recording is listing all the cities in the US now under quarantine. They might as well have said the whole country. You search the property once more for Grandma, but she is nowhere to be found. You decide to head into town and see if you can find any other survivors. On your way out the door, you grab one item. What ONE item will you take with you?
