A Review of The Perfect Marriage
Check out the thoughts of The Perfect Marriage from the husband and wife team of Fabulous and Fun.
Jen’s Review:
This book was a wild ride from start to finish! I was fully onboard for the mystery and all the juicy twists—it felt like literary rollercoaster with no seatbelt. But that ending? Oh. My. Plot twist. I nearly dropped the book (okay, my Kindle) in shock. I did not see that coming, and now I need a support group.
Mike’s Review:
I’m a pretty forgiving reader. If the story pulls me in, I don’t usually get hung up on things feeling a little rough around the edges. I also know it’s been cleaned up and re-released, so that’s likely changed anyway.
All that aside, I really enjoyed this one. It’s packed with twists and turns, and just when you think you’ve figured something out, the truth slips out of reach again. It kept me flipping pages for sure.
This isn’t the kind of book I normally pick up, but a client of mine was raving about it, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Glad I did. And honestly, if you’ve followed Jeneva online at all, you know she’s got this hilarious, dark sense of humor that absolutely shows up in her writing. That vibe helped pull me in even more.
The story’s got its hooks in all the right places. I came for the chaos, stayed for the twists.

SYNOPSIS
Sarah Morgan is one of the best criminal defense attorneys in Washington, DC. With a perfect case record and having made named partner before the age of thirty-five, her life is going exactly as she planned.
However, the same cannot be said for her husband, Adam, a failed author, who's grown to resent his wife's meteoric success as he feels it's come at the expense of their relationship.
For almost two years, Adam has kept his affair with Kelly Summers a secret, but everything changes when her body is discovered at the couple's lake house and Adam is arrested on suspicion of murder.
Sarah now finds herself facing her most challenging case yet when she vows to defend her husband--a man accused of murdering his mistress.
While Adam is certainly guilty of sleeping with Kelly, the question remains: Is he guilty of killing her too?
