I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Spoiler warning it’s sometimes hard to discuss a series without busting out some spoilers from previous books. So this is your final warning!
We start with Shade broken, depressed, withdrawn, and simply a wreck. I could almost hear Sarah McLachlan playing in the background. Though I get the impression that it’s more than just the sinister treatment she received in the last book.
I’m usually good on picking up on stuff but this one caught me by surprise, not only once but twice in a row! Mind blown! I’m glad Brisa gets to join in on some of the fun even if it is fairly briefly, I have to say I saw her story arc coming from a mile away but I still enjoyed it!
You’ll know what I’m talking about when you get there, but it’s supposed to be sweet and “awwww” but I couldn’t help myself, the wording just made me think of Pokemon! And now when you read it, you’ll think of it too! muaha
Ever Winter wraps things up in style though, dangerous duels, epic battles, horrifying heartbreak, and a sense of impending doom looms at us from book four!

OMG! As I am reading this, I am loving it! Although I am still feeling frustrated by Dylan and Shade not really being quite together yet. I am pleased to see her finally coming to terms with her feelings for him.
What a whirlwind of excitement this book has been. Oh oh oh, and I just cannot spoil – but wow how the tables turn on Corb. LOVE IT!!!
This one was full of excitement and tears! I loved it!

Once again, Alexia Purdy manages to pack quite a punch into a little story. It answers several questions, spills out some very interesting information, and yet at the same time raises so many more! I’m very interested to see how any of this will change my perception of things to come in book four!

This was short and was a fast read. I thought it was good, but I did not like it as much as the others.
