How It Rolls

My Review

*Sorry Possible Spoilers*

I absolutely love this series! As of now, I have only read Love and Skate and How It Rolls, but I am sure I will love the rest as well. As I am reading this book, I kept thinking who do I love more Falcon or Owen? But as I got farther into How it Rolls, Falcon became my favorite. I totally adore him.

How can you not love and adore Falcon? Falcon is so amazing, he has a heart of gold. He is so sweet, kind, loving, caring and sensitive!! I am so shocked he bought Reed a house. WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! When I first read that, my first though was WOW! Then I was thinking, I wonder what she will think? Will she accept it?

Learning he is getting it to her anonymously. I wonder, will she learn the truth? When she found out the truth about the house. WOW!

It’s so amazing how Falcon will do anything for Reed. I am sitting here trying to write down my thoughts, and it’s hard to do without spoiling stuff. I totally hate spoilers. I love to be surprised and shocked and all that good stuff.

OMG! My heart just breaks for Nellie and Owen.

Throughout this book I have laughed and I have cried. I just loved this book. If you have not read it, I totally recommend it. You’ll love it!

Solid, studious, serious, sexy?(Sorry, the guys don’t do it for me, but I’ve had to jump over enough drool puddles to know the ladies think so) All seem to describe Falcon. Yeah I wonder how many fights he got into in school with a name like that!

“She calls me ‘bird boy’ and Hawkeye every time she gets a chance. Last year she bought me a bow and arrow for my birthday and told me it was for when the Avengers were called into action.”

Enter the orange-locked and mysterious Reed Wolfe, a new employee at Nellie’s Bookstore where mutual sparks fly between the two of them.

“Wait, was I already planning on kissing him? Put out the wanted posters, I’d lost it.”

And without giving anything away of course, one lesson that can be taken away from their relationship is simple. Don’t take Falcon on a cruise.. because he will go overboard!

“You’re gonna have to start being careful what you wish for. He-Man’s not gonna let those things go. He’ll go overboard every time.”

We have a sweet and swoon worthy relationship, because what else can you have with one of the Black boys anyway? Though unfortunately they take out a subscription to needlessly dramatic magazine, boy how I wish Mama Black would whack them both with a rolling pin.

I’m not sure what it was, but Falcon and Reed, though awesome, just didn’t connect with me and I found myself waiting around for more Nellie because she totally stole the show. She ended up with some of the best lines and the most heartbreaking of plot lines. That rebellious scene-stealer!

One of the great facts of this series is that the characters in this ever growing family don’t vanish or fade away when the next book rolls around. And I look forward to my next visit with the Black family!
