I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Much like like previous book Crane, Raven bounces back and forth between the present day and the past weaving a complex storyline that spans the ages with a wonderful blending of humor and macabre.
“If you fall asleep here you will wake up with a dolphin tramp stamp. I promise you that.”
The playful banter between characters even at the grimmest of times as always was a fun way to keep things from getting too disturbing with this dark of a storyline, which they certainly could have!
“I’m going to get the innocent bystanders out of the way so your inner monster can slap the stupid out of his inner monster and get him off the ledge. Sound like a plan? Good. Go Team Horseman.”
My only complaints such as they are about Raven are the same as they were for Crane. I want more! I can only hope we get some more answers in the next book because I have too many questions that demand an answer!
